The bulb is actually inside the unit, it'll be tough to replace. if it was the fuse, all your interior lights wouldn't work. to get the unit out, take out the 4 screws holding in the center trim picethen, you should see screws holding it in, and it comes right out.

10 screws??? at most, there should be 4. Well, the unit is clipped to a somewhat short harness, so maybe if you take out the empty DIN slot below it, you can reach behind andunclip the harness. But I think there should be only 4 screws holding in the unit.

Is there a bracket you can see that it slides into?
If so, you may just need to give it a good tug.
I am not sure though because I don't have a p10

Uhmm...if you read the FSM it should have the proceedure to do this. Also be careful, becuase the cold-hot selector is actually a cable, which i believe needs to be in the cold position to allow you to pull it out...but dont quote me on that. Just dont rip it out too hard.
You almost have to break the outer case open to get to the bulbs inside, and I think they are the non-replaceable type as they are not like in a bulb socket...
