Front license plate mount

The previous owner of my car removed the front license plate mount and well, the wholes in the bumper are wider then a license plate... and they are on the passenger side of the bumper??? most eclipses and talons i have seen have the license plate mount in the center? I have a 97 eagle talon and I was just wondering where is the front license plate mounted in the center or to the one side?

offset to the passenger side off the car..

okay thanks... now i just have to find one to swipe off a car in a junk yard... bad thing is not too many talons are in my area... i guess i can just drive around illegally for a bit longer:)
