i'm not sure if loudest is the word because this is not for an spl application, but my friend is getting a rockford amp that puts out 300 watts at 2 ohms mono(rms). i was looking at the phoenix gold ti15d on ebay for around 85$, and i know that this is the best sub for the money, but i was wondering what ya'll thought would be a good sub for this. it needs to get loud with 300 watts, and be able to get down to 2 ohms, and don't recommend to work on the box because he's gonna buy a prefab, and its gonna be sealed.

your best bet is probably that PG 15" titanium subwoofer. For the price, it's hard to beat (SQ and SPL mix). :)

i kno its a little bit higher but the shivas are a damn good value at 125. Just get an amp that has the desired output at 4ohm cuz its d8.
