hf to dx

i have just gotten an 88 crx hf with a bad tranny, i have a dx engine and tranny sitting in my garage. im wondering if i can use the hf intake manifold. could anybody tell me what i would need to do this swap. btw this will be my first d series swap :bigthumb:

you should just be able to bolt up the head/block/tranny right up..use the hf intake mani and dizzy and fuel rail and all that.... use the hf axles as well..

^^^^^ str8 foward swap. everything is interchangable on the outside. ie intake/exh mani, dizzy n such

i beleive his intentions are to use the hf mpfi mani and stay mpfi'd

Oh. I wasn't aware it was that simple to change a motor set up for dpfi to mpfi. It sounds like all he is asking is to use the hf mani, didnt say anything about swapping over.
