Snow :)

Finally, after weeks of hoping, NJ has finally been hit with snow...:)
I know I'm probably the only one whose happy, with the exception of the other people who are in school around here and want a snow day. We just tried going the 2 miles to town, and never made it up the hill, instead slid sideways down it. So yeah, I'm just had to be happy for a moment there. 6~8" tonite and maybe another 6" tomorrow:eek:. So tomorrow I wont be around for awhile, since I'll be out helping my dad plow :)

I'm sooooooooo happy! I went out and did some donuts in a parking lot! It was an absolute blast! I love the snow!!!!!!

I wish we had snow here,we only got a couple of inches and it almost totally melted.:(

You get what, 3" of snow and they close school? :rolleyes: I can remember getting 2' of snow before, and they didnt think of closing. :)

I told my mom that if I had my license I'd be out doing donuts, but I told her to pretend she never heard me say that :)
I cant wait to wake up and hear the school closings, with mine included :D hehe.
Of course I'm going to be an idiot and not sleep in, but get up and go plowing, lol.

Tiny bit of snow here, but its suppose to melt Monday and Tues, that means lots of Mud!!! :licker:

yeah, my school system is dumb, ill admit it......but we do have tons of backroads that trucks like to fly down....my bus goes down one....so maybe theres some logic in it....what sucks is there gonna say we're goin in two hours late tommorow morning....so we'll get ready......10 minutes before we go in, theyll declare school closed.....they do that EVERY time! regardless of how bad it is

Tomorrow morning I have to get up at 4am to go out plowing. We have 4" of snow right now, but originally supposed to only get 5" by 6am tomorrow morning. I think we'll have 5" by about 9, 9:15pm. My guess is that they are closing schools. If they dont, I seriously think my school system is fuked up. Last year they gave us a 2hour delay, I went out, got ½way to the busstop, and someone came out and told me they closed school. I have a messed up system here, lol.
Damn and I'm still happy bout all this snow, while my mom and dad complain, hehe :D

snowday:confused:....? Down here in San Diego we are lucky to get rain much....usually it rains a bit during early/mid January through the beginning of Febuary, but i bet we aren't gonna get much rain this year. I can drive like 3 hours to the mountains and find snow easy:)

You can have all our snow. I dont want to see anymore ever again!

my school is seriously f-ed up (partly because of the snow, busses were slippin everwhere! woo!...yes i had my drive-toschool priveleges taken away) but the other part is cause i skipped school aobut 3 weeks ago (some of you may have remebered) and finally they get around to punishing me, the school that is, by giving me 3 days of internal suspension!!! Great idea school! Punish me for missing school, by making me miss my classes for another 3 days! Wow, logic at its best!:finger:

i cant wait to get to college. no more BS like this.

And when im famous, and people ask me about my High School, i am gonna say ":finger4: <--- High School"

we just had a good sized storm today that dropped a couple inches. here is a pic of how much snow i have at my house.

but its been like 70 degrees here sunny as hell and some clouds here and there.. what kinda winter is this anyways :mad: :mad:

Damn I envy you Americans (And South Islanders) I have barely ever seen snow in my life, I wish it wouls snow here just for one day, so I know what it feels like to hae Mt Ruapehu in my backyard..................:D

Take a trip to Alaska in January someday. You'll get your fill of what snow is like. :)

Being that the furthest north I've been is Savannah, Ga, the most snow I've seen was a couple of inches a couple of times :(

just yesterday brighton ski resort got 52 inches, a few inches shy of the 24 hour period record. they had to shut it down temporarily. snow reports (http://www.skiutah.com)
