Just another "What cams should I buy?" thread..
I figure I could get about $250-$300 for my ctr cams, might as well sell them and swap for something better for "free". I don't know too much about brand names, lift specs, blah blah blah with cams, just wondering if somebody could help me out. I only want a small increase in the lower end, nothing offering massages at traffic lights, but I want vtec to be much healthier. btw I already have cam sprockets but they're not installed yet, so I can mess around with the timing if needed w/out having to spend more money. If I install something relatively mean will I need to upgrade other drivetrain shit too? lemme know, thanks.

most cams for b series vtec motors increase top end thats why some require dual valve springs um you should call crower and tell them what your looking for and they will match you with the cams your looking for.

90% of the stage 2, and up cams are in increase in performance, even with the CTR valvetrain, I'd still upgrade for any cam in the stage 3 or higher range. IMO, you do better getting the 1.8 stroker kit for your motor.

unless you get like they said stage 3's and up your CTR cams are gonna give you the best option. definatly upgrade your springs/retainers and valves while your in there.

well the civic type r's are like stage 1's so the stage 2's will be better. i think you're gonna have to get better valve springs and retainers if you plan to rev past 9k
