Hey guys,
Just bought a 93 Celica GT and ordered a motor from LC engineering with 250 horse and had them turbo it with a 450hp turbo kit. I'm officially a Celica enthusiast. All I need now is a short ram intake, cat-back exhaust, coilovers, strutbars, and wheels and im set for racing.
If anyone has any helpful tips/hints/or advice plz post.

IMO your bullshitting us all, because if u got 450Hp A short ram intake is useless as is a cat back, coilovers will do f all .. and i think i speak for us all,

I know what i bought but as far as what i'm adding to what's being sent...i feel those are my options and personally if i want a cat-back, coil-overs, and a short-ram, who's to stop me...I wasn't looking for spite, merely for any advice as far as exhaust/intake and suspension mods are concerned...if you dont like what i posted, dont reply.

Okay ladies chill out.. No need for the hostility.. Now since that is settled time for my two cents.. Personally it sounds like a time bomb your putting under your hood.. I would never put a turbo on my car to begin with cause of the hassle of keeping it in good condition, let alone one putting that much HP into an engine with a low stock HP rating.. All I am saying is test your limits before you go gunning it and blow someone or something up.. If however 'you' built that engine and didnt get it from someone then I would say your safe, but I don't trust anyone with my life like that..

I appreciate the info Sypher, for the builders of the motor and turbo go to www.lcengineering.com there you will find that they custom build each motor for max output, eficiency, reliability, and safety. The turbo kit is also made by them and they install it on the motor and prepare it in the same efficient, reliable fashion. It's a 250hp stg 5 motor with their pro drag stg 4 turbo kit. If anyone has any input about Inlaid headlamps, suspension kits, intake, or exhaust kits plz let me know. Also, if anyone has any other opions about the motor please post. And be so kind as to do so in a non insulting way. Prime example of a rude post would be RedCivic3's post. Again for information about the motor go to www.lcengineering.com . They specialize in Toyota racing performance.

Oh I am very familar with the LC guys, and from what I hear they do excellent work.. But when it comes to that much power I would rather be the one putting that power into my car instead of someone I didnt know personally.. I would rather have my engine blow up cause of my own mistake instead of someone elses, cause more than likely I would know what I did wrong cause I put it together instead of doing guess work on what someone else did.. Or if worse comes to worse having to take it somewhere to have it fixed cause I couldn't figure it out and get screwed on labor charges.. Nothing against you, and nothing against the LC guys, it's just my way of thinking.. And let's not start bashing on RedCivic3, he is after all entitled to his opinion too.. Even if anything Honda is my sworn enemy :P

short ram should be Cold Air intake so your not sucking up hot air from the engine bay
good quality coilovers, with new shocks, struts braces, brakes should be of consideration
Catback should be new exhaust from downpipe back.
all im saying is if you've got this 450Hp engine treat it like one. not like some 95hp honda with 6 inch fart can.

I appreciate the info, the only reason i mentioned short ram is because i have had experiences with the wonderful hydralock disease...id have a custom vent cut in the hood for the short ram. id rather do that than hydralock cuz i emmersed my filter in a puddle...

what is the point of that much power????? do you have to much money that you dont know what to do with it or something?
damn....if i had that much money, i would atleast put the power into a damn All-Trac...seeing as its AWD and its worth more.....
well w/e do what you want...i just think that a celica is not worth putting THAT much money into....
i mean i plan on getting the 3S-GTE or just the all-trac all together...but what you did is just plain crazy

The 750 figure is kind of a lot for a celica, that is getting close to the psycho state.. But if that is what you live for then go right ahead and do it.. The only thing I ask is that if you happen to mess it up do not tell us, or at elast me..

you just becuase somthing likea T3/T4 is capable of 450 whp, dosent mean your car is goign to get 450 Hp

its great to try out new things cause thats how the racing industy started out u know trying stuff that was rarly if ever done but, if u try thiss combo of course a company will sell it to u thats how they make there money but what is ther time span of this motor estimated for? a good solid turbo motor never usally last for over 80,000 miles before issues do u want to takere that chance? i dont knoiw how well off u are but when i built my first motor to take a chance with thaats all i had if it blew i was out 9 grand. so its just one of thos things u just gotta try. but if u go driving and the car feels lagged down dont hesatate to pull over cause a blown turbo mean lots of trouble if u keep driving on it. well anyway good luck and have fun

you should probably ask them the normal life expectancy youll get outta the engine, theyll tel you that, and figure your only gunna get 2/3 of that if you turbochrage it
