Ignition Lock Cylinder replacement

Are any special tools other than a wheel puller required to replace the lock cylinder? How is it secured. Clip? Nut? Bolt? Do I need to watch out for anything jumping up and slapping me in the face then disappearing never to be seen again?? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Been a while since I've been into one, but I remember that you will need torx sockets, don't remember what size. Be careful of the plastic horn wire connector that is spring loaded to the collector ring it is easily broken. The snap ring around the shaft is a little tricky but not to bad. You may need someone to help you compress the slotted lock plate while you remove and install the ring. I THANK? the cylinder has a loaded pin/dowel that you compress to release the cylinder.
