Third fast and furious movie?

I heard rumours about another fast and furious movie about to be made...any of you know if it's true, and if so when will it be out and what cars will be in it?

Fast and The Furious is gay! GAYGAYGAY!!!! But you know what? I saw both movies! And if they made the 3Fast 3 Furious (or whatever they'll call it next...) revolve around a Osaka, Japan during the night-drifting sessions, undercover cop-like busting Yakuza gang-members alongside a scantly clad Nihon girl in a school-girl uniform.... you can bet your ass I'll see it and so will everyone else... But it's still GAY!

ya i understand that it is VERY VERY over exagerated (picking up an r34 skyline at a used dealership etc...lol) but you gotta admit it does have some fuckin nice cars

The plot was dumb, the only things I liked in the second one was the cars and the girls. I could've written a better plot on a 5 minute break at my workplace. If they make a 3rd one I think they know it will flop, cause I don't see the seond one as having a fan following as much as the first one did. In short they need Vin Diesel to return.

i actually like f&f its light entertainment. one of those silly films that you just watch for the hell of it. no heavy ploy that gets you thinking. you just watch it and thats it

if they were making one Id request....MORE DOMESTICS!!!
an I don't mean cars that never win or dinky cars like ford focus's..put a buick grand national in it or....V8 fiero(the stinger).... a cummins diesel truck with twin turbo and a 150 shot that huals ass while pulling a car in tow.

Please not another one... The FF furious movies are fantasy at best.. I mean really A Ford Saleen Mustang being beat by a ricer, or that awsome Hemi Cuda... In real life the imports would not have a chance... in a race against these cars..

I hope if it does come out that their are more U.S. cars and the movie does them justice... Not make them cannon fodder for the ricers...

Understood, the EVO is fast but let's get serious, The Saleen Mustang is putting out close to 400 HP and the Hemi Cuda was pushing 500HP... I mean a ricer would be hard pressed to run in the same crowd as these two cars let alone beat them... The movie had the ricer's outrunning these two cars, sorry in real life it just would not happen... But hey it is the movies...

how much hp do you think an evo modded that much was putting out seeing as stock its putting out 271, and it probably weighs about 700lbs less than the cuda, btw at the amount those cars were supposedly modded they were all probably limited by traction and emissions(?) so how fast do you think any of these cars are gonna run on street tires? not too much faster off the line than awd , theres a vid on here somewhere of an evo annihilating a camaro ss off the line and then holding the lead right until the end- im not sure of either cars mod though

but overall i think it would be neat to see a third movie, maybe introduce some domestics like the dodge srt-4, i think this car is underrated...this is an amazing car that can even compare to the evo vii

Paul will mostlikely not be in this film. Vin is in Mexico "on the lamb" and its the world of street racing in mexico.

I know quite a few import owners "in real life" who would put a real hurting on either one of those cars. And these are just some of the local guys, nobody famous or in any magazines or anything. If you think it doesn't happen in real life you're kidding yourself.

hmmmm so i guess 350whp evos are just soo hard to come by. a evo can make that power easy with the burschur kit. for the evo a 100whp gain is nothing so in short a 350whp evo = to around 450 crank hp. soooo 450 hp evo ownz 400 hp saleen. now the rest of the movie you know that when they were racing the challenger and the yanko camaro they even admited that in a straight up race they would lose, and when they were acelerating from off the line, they imports were gettin owned bad. the reason why the imports won in the races was mostly becuase of the skill of the driver, not becasue they had a superior machine.

*shrug* I thought they handled the race with the muscle cars well. They basically said the Evo/Eclipse would get worked and they kept to it. No disrepect that I saw. Although, the Viper falling behind on the highway scene was a bit odd.

Almost forgot about the Viper, V10 with 500+ HP top speed in excess of 190+mph being beat in an all out high speed street race by a Ricer, Now that is pure Fantasy...

it is a movie and there were fake things in the movie of course, the viper should have been far ahead the m3 should have at least been beating the eclipse, and it didn't really look like they were punching it the whole time, maybe they were more concerned while making the movie of who's the better freeway racer :dunno:

Hmm, another domestic superior comment, why am I not surprised. I guess those 1200 hp supras can't touch anything on the street, especially a Viper. Do you watch any vids online? They have alot of Supras w/ single turbo conversions smoking Vipers like a bad habit, including one vid of a Hennessey powered 1000 hp Viper getting trounced on a highway run. Whereabouts do you live 1Quick91? Maybe somebody here can set up a race with your mustang.

You're aren't being any better though. Neither side is right on this whole arguement. A lingenfelter Corvette could smoke just about anything. It's just about who has the better mods really. He was probably refering to being stock for stock. Saleen vs. Evo.

ummm unless I am mistaken, all the cars in the movie Fast and Furious weren't stock, in short 1Quick91 is referring to modded cars. Basically I fail to rationalize your point. I'm not at fault. I've never said domestics don't have power, and of course the Lingenfelter 427TT vette is a killer. It's also heavily underrated horsepower wise. I use to own a 2000 Z28 until last month, so I don't sprout off about domestic/import superiority. Any car can be made to be fast, some more reliably then others.

especially a supra, never seen a supra run 9's? have you atleast heard of a supra doing 9's? if not do some homework, you'l be devastated. 1000hp supra's all over the place, 900hp supra with stock internals

i seen a vid of a gsx smoking a lingenfelter Corvette.. form stand still and roll.. but the gsx was heavely tuned a low 11sec dsm..
yea i would watch a f&F3 tho just for the cars thatsa about it.. btw 900hp supra ownzz all lets not also forget aobut the 10sec 600hp street rx-7 running around and low 11sec dsm...

this is about the stupidest argument i've ever seen... if you like imports, fine, if you like domestics, fine. it's all a matter of taste and modifications. if my stang, once it's built, happens to lose to some monster supra or evo or civic or whateverthehellelseimightsee, who cares? just take your punches and bow out, make more money and make it faster. just remember people, there's always somebody faster than you.

and to those who are taking personal offence to somebody poking fun at your cars, i find you highly immature. perhaps you should just back off a little.

and by the way, i find most everything that comes out of hollywood, including the fast and the furious series, to be highly contrived. it's all engineered to whatever the most popular trend happens to be, which now, in terms of cars, happens to be imported cars with highly modified bodies and interiors and (anywhere from) little to extensive engine work. be cause of this, a rivalry between people of the opposite mindset is a natural occurrence.

its true that back when i saw the first F&F, i was impressed, i liked the racing and all that other stuff. however, i had little knowlege of cars and mechanics and usually didn't know what i was looking at. now that i have more knowlege and my tastes have evolved, i enjoy neither the premise nor the execution of the movies.

i believe that everybody is entitled to their opinions, so you may choose not to listen to me if you wish. i think that a lot of people would be wise to take this to heart tho.

and to stangnut86. this is a forum were you talk about cars, so people will talk and give reasons. if someone spoke and said my vr4 is rice i would have something to say about that also. we are just saying that evo-8 and supra's and skyline's and the rest of the high performance imports are not ricers but the real thing.

There are several Lingenfelter engine packages available (I believe a 370, 383, etc.). They all range from mildly fast, to kill any chance of getting a decent insurance premium fast. Also some of the packages don't have a turbo. Actually Gail Banks has a meaner engine package that is smog legal currently (1200 hp LS1).

lingenfelter makes sort of "staged" packages the fastest being the 750hp version which does run 9's however they have packages that only ( seems wrong saying "only") produce around 550hp im not sure what that runs in the quarter but it could be what that particular GSX was up against
