I, like everyone else would love to have an EVO, but well the only chance of getting n EVO would be to import it, which cost $$$ that I dont have. I know the EVO VII will be here later, but I like the style of the EVO V and VI. I was thinking about a Mirage with an EVO V body kit...I just wanna know what people think of a mirage to an EVO look-a-like.

I've seen some Lancer with EVO VI look. They look great !!
Since old lancer shares most body style with EVO VI, I think they looks so great. Go for it !

The mirage was Mitsubishi's first attemp at a car of it's class in the unites states, and the body styles always followed that of a Lancer, except for the cyborg and ther two door coupe(which I think they have in Japan). So the mirage was our early Lancer.
looks good though, be the next choice if they hadn't brought the Lancer over. It's still cool even with the evo coming.

The Mirage here is called the Lancer in other countries. I know for a fact, and from experience, that the front-wheel drive Mirage we have here is used for Rally racing in Australia and Thailand.

For the styling, I think it looks good. Personally, though, I would also make it go as fast as it looks. You know that there's going to be some putz out there with a Honda/Acura who will ask you to race, and the 100hp you're putting out want be able to keep up with the competitor.

What we really need is the MiVEC! That would even up the field a bit. And, since it's the engine in the Mirage/Lancer cars in Australia, Thailand, and Europe, getting the aftermarket performance parts for it would be easier than it is for 1.5L or 1.8L that are available now. When is Mitsubishi going to bring that over?
