what the hell is that. they paid over 100 grand for that. NO2 and turbo good. Paint is ok. The interior well that would have to go. is that thing ever going to see they street or is it going to be a trailer queen.

i have to agree with jaydogg, i hate trailer queens, so if they dont drive that then it is pointless to spend that much money on a car.

Well Whoever Built that car must not relize How close the Freaking Fuel lines are to the Turbo. That isn't going to last. He will be going through Fuel injectors all the time. The Fuel is what cools them, if you have like 200 degree Fuel, how is that going to cool the injectors. Bad Idea. heh. They spent that much They could have at least done it right.

You really dont think you can put 100 grand in a s2000. You could easily put that much into it

na, come on 100k.. add it up, lets say the thing has a fully built motor.. that kind of work might go for 10k, then a turbo kit 3k, nitrous 2k hardcore set up, and lets say 5k in bullshit...thats only 20k.. thers no way you could spend 100k in just the motor alone.. thats unrealistic unless they were charged 80k in labor lol..

Yes, I've been around the .org for years. I've HAD 4 Cavaliers ever. My 99 has been in Lowrider, Super Street, etc. I also have a swapped 95' Civic and my original (old school) vehicle, a 91 S-10.

Rob had the car as a daily driver, started working on it, got into shows, re-did it, did it again, and now its one of the top show cars in the US, so instead of being a fucking child and bad-mouthing someone who brings good attention to the J-car platform, you should shut your mouth and support it.

not big on the car. Looks like about $100 worth of purple fun-fur, and a nasty paint job. Would be more impressed with an actual engine upgrade, even if it was just up to a 2.4. Ditto on the fuel line/turbo issue, should pay some attention to that. I would pay no more than $30,000 for that car

anyway. that kid is now 18 (he got it when he was 17)
to answer some old school questions,
his dad owns the chevy dealership and he could of had any chevy he wanted, i asked him why he chose that over a vette. and he said cause it looks cooler and it will be faster. and i said", but you could of got a 2004 vette zo6 for like 50,000 and had 50,000 more worth of mods.

he said he just likes cavs better. then i laughed at him and walked away.
anyway i guess the motor isnt even fully built and it can only handle 14psi boost and he doesnt use nitrous, thats just for show.
he has 7 tv's and he finally did run at my track and got a low 14.?
and everyone was in awww. a disopointing awwwww.

He's had the car for a number of years, he is older than 18 (hes 21 or so), they bought it stock originally and by doing more and more and more to it the turned into what they have now, his family does not own a chevy dealership, and the car has gone through 3 major rebuilds, and has far MORE than $100,000 in it. And the last time it ran at a track was the J-Body Bash in 2002 in Austinburg, Ohio. Don't remember the time, but it was slow, as not only is it hardly driven (Bob told me when he moved to to the other end of the dragstrip for me to take some picts for Guage Magazine in 2003 at the Bash in St. Louis, it was the farthest he'd driven it in about a year) but it also weighs a helluva lot.

Also, it currently has 25? 28? tv's. (Somewhere around there)

WTF are you talking about???? your obviously talking about a different car. this car has7 tv's and the kid is 18. and he didnt even have the car tell 03' and he lives in farmington utah. and ya, his dad owns the chevy dealership.
