Hey! Looking for Some Advice on Tsi

Hey Everyone, New to the forums and was hoping to get some advice on my 95 Talon Tsi AWD.....It started running funny a few days ago and no one seems to know what the problem may be....My power is cutting out as I'm driving and the temp gauge goes up...then the power will cut again and the temp will drop back to normal. It isnt doing it all the time...just hit and miss SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE! I am tired of being the girl that the mechanics try to rip off! Thanks!

check what your exhaust is like if seems damp (hold your hand in front of it) then your head gasket is probably leaking another sign that thats the problem is if theres any water in your oil or oil in your coolant

not a very good description.. what RPMs does this happen at? does it happen random or everytime you do something?? check the coolant level..
