Ok,I am a "Newbie" to Car Modeling , I did some junky Ferreri F40 ,F355/Star war X-wing modeling before /1998...(It's turn out suck) ..

So I wish to start again By getting a Fujimi "initail D series" Apex GT Tureno and modify the front end and rear to match the looks like this :

1. Sure why not? As long as it fits in the wheel wells, you just have to figure out how to attach them

2. Most people would reccomend Model Masters, Tamiya, or Gunze. You can use automotive paint too.

3. Never heard of it

4. Styrene sheet and putty. Stay away from the Testors putty, it's absolute crap.

It's actually trueno. I'd love to see you do this. How about an engine to boot? Just find a rear sump dohc 4 and make a turbo to fit it.

Update:
I found four Rim & flat rubber tyre left , thats actually come from the mini 4wd .
one thing i not sure is the size and scale match or not , The fujimi scale model is 24:1 . since nobody do the 80's toyota Tureno models ....fujimi is my only hope.
