i want two of those, but i think i need about 500w to each
so what would be a good afordable amp to power those?
but if that gets to expensive im jsut gonna get some cheaper subs which need a lot less watts, like say 200 each, what would be a good amp there?

legacy is a big no no. and i have never heard of earthquake but sounds like it could be like legacy. if you get into car audio for any amount of time you will hear many bad things about legacy and pyramid and there are a couple others that i can't think of right now. those first subs you picked out would be awesome but you would have to get a big amp. i would say maybe a directed audio 1100d amp would power those pretty good or you could get a jl 1200.1 or a kicker 1200.1 just look these up on the internet for prices and get the one you like the best, i know there are more amps out there but i can't think of them at the moment so i will let you know if i think of some more.

you will need about 500 to 700 watts rms each sub.get a JL amp or rock ford fosgate. it would sound awsome, but if money is concerned then maybe some kicker subs and a kenwood amp from electronic express. stay away from the stuff at the half price fair

how are eclipse subs?
the only eclipse subs i have heard were two 10s and they were run off of a little pioneer amp (maybe 300 watts). but they sounded ok, no where near to my kickers. i would say if you want some good base get kicker, you really can't go wrong with those, but you can find them very cheap if you look hard enough.

for high-end bass i swear by memphis and diamond. 2 CM3 diamond's and a memphis 500D amp and you'll be as loud as you could need. :)
