anyone know if an h22 motor will fit right on a f23 tranny? And would I have to change the axles? Im pretty sure ECU has to be changed.

ya it should work, i had the original h23a motor with 2.3L tranny, i dropped an h22a motor in the car and just changed the ecu as well, and i have had no problems so far, i have had this h22a motor in now for a years time

the f23 should bolt upto the block, with very minor to no modifiaction, but the ecu shouldnt have to be changed, unless its an automatic.

your gonna need to have an exhuast shop weld the two parts together, they might not lign up correctly.

the exhaust... just get the header for the engine (H22 header) then get the exhaust system for the car... go to a shop like meineke, or Midas, and have them put in an extension if that is needed from the header to the Cat... should be an easy fix, and fairly cheap....
