Frustrated with the Cup Holders?

We are first time owners of a 3-series convertible. We have a 1999 323I. Great car and loads of fun. The cup holders under the armrest are useless. Ugh! What 'after market' options are there for cup holders? I am sure there have been some creative ideas. Please advise. I see that the newer models have the problem fixed. Help!

www.bavauto.com should have them. I've never tried the cup holders, so I can't tell you if they work, but from what I've seen so far, Bavarian Autosport makes and sells quality parts.

I went to my local Suprtrack and picked up a pair of black cup holders that hang from the front quarter window seal. work great, looks OEM, cheap.

German's do not believe in drinking a Wendy's slurpy driving down the road, not paying attention. They believe in paying 100% attention to the road. This is why American's have such a high death rate on the road, yapping on the cell phone, eating, applying makeup, doing things other than paying attention to the road. It really gets under my skin when I hear people gripe about there not being adequate cupholders, Please, buy a Toyota, or Dodge.
