Water leaking onto drivers floor

I have a 1999 Silverado 2500. Recently a leak has developed that soaks the drivers side floor when it rains. I checked during the last rain storm and saw water dripping from the area of the emergency brake pedal. I've tried to get the problem to manifest by using a hose and buckets of water and directing it towards the bottom of the windshield area without success. Has anyone else out there experienced this problem or know what the fix is? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My friend had the same problem and it ended up being the light on the back of the cab, some how the water would run down the inside of the cab and on to the floor.

If its an extended cab check your weather stripping mine came loose in one spot and allowed a slight drip, I pulled off a Large Section and cleaned some light debris out of the channel and glued it back on with some Marine Glue (water proof) No problems since.. Hope this helps.. -Jimmy
