The Critic has been off the air for many years now, but they released it to DVD a little while ago, and my friend just bought the set. The show is excellent and spontainious, a few episodes rival Family Guy for their quick, wacky, and unexpected humour. (Orson Welles doing a comercial for frozen peas, saying the line "...frozen freshness and green pea-ness." comes to mind)
The main character's voice is done by Jon Lovitz, which is always great. And seeing the all the satire of the film industry is great too.
Anybody else liked this show when it was on?

I still will stay up til 2am just to watch that show even if I have seen all the episodes ten times over, the Critic is the only show I think that can rival Family Guy.
