1995 Grand Caravan SE-- Cant Open Hood

Hello,

I have a 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan SE and I recently broke the hood latch handle. Now I went to the dealer to buy another one, I install it and now it just moves freely, and I cannot open the hood, I think it might be the linkage wire, Is there any other way to open the hood?

I got it, I Loosened the tension on the wire
