which rad hose is in and which is out?

wanna stick garden hose ito the 'in ' on e (top???) and run the engine for coupla minutes to have all the crap run out of the 'out' hose (bottom???)

You can get a DIY quick flush (prestone I think) They work great.. Its a T valve with a garden hose coupler on it that you splice into your heater hose, you can run the garden hose through your system and flush all the shit out.. Then screw the cap on when your done.. Its cheap too..

Otherwise, the coolant goes to your engine via the bottom rad hose, and to your rad through the top hose..
