i know i know, i tried searching but didn't come up with a whole lot.
the bearing in my alternator is gone (so i'm told) and my alternators on its last leg. i wanna replace it with in the next week if i can, whats the best option tho? i can
a) get a rebuild for about 65$ cnd. be without a car for a few days
b)buy a new one 200$
c) buy a high output alt. $???
d) rebuild it myself? how hard would that be??
any advice, more options or links showing me how to rebuild an alt.?
thanks, helps appreciated

I remember seeing a link for Alt. rebuild how-to in the technical section. Personally I would not waste my time rebuilding when you can buy a rebuilt with warranty for pretty cheap.

go to the junkyard and get one for cheap if possible. It's good to have a couple friends that work on honda's as well. They possibly may have a couple alts/starters and crap like that available for you to use. I know my friends always have spares.
