Hey, I fixin to buy a 5-speed rs with about 100,000 miles on it. I was just wondering what kind of things I could do to restore. I know its an rs but any gs-t/gsx is extremely rare to come by. And when I mean rare, I mean about one every 5-6 months. So I am going to just get that one and be satisfied. But on otherhand the what is max hp I can put on my stock engine without overheating it? Any help would be nice. :screwy:

You really won't be able to produce much more power than stock on an N/T. I'd say that 160whp is hard to attain.

what if I was to add a custom intercooler or something.....I see lots of stock intercoolers on ebay for low..

are you willing to turbocharging it?

You don't have anything to cool with an intercooler unless you buy a turbo kit. Then, yes, you will want one.

Yes i am willing to torbo charge it, and by looking at the rst..it seems worth the while. I am not trying to break records, but I am wanting to be a little different.

In my area Arkansas.....lol

yup especially if you want the engine to last any amount of time. talk to jake about it. i'm in the process of building a turbo 420a motor right now and it isn't cheap...i even got half of the parts needed for free and its still pretty damned expensive.
