Annoying rattle

Well i finaly got my Short shifter installed correctly and what a difference it makes. anyways my probem is the short shifter is a little longer and now the end of change rod sits on top of my piping causing an annoying rattle when engine is reved. any opinions on how to get piping like .5 lower?

Ahhhh, what does that sound, sound like? Maybe this is my problem. I was suspecting the linkage, but I dont have aftermarket, but my bushings are shot.

And to solve your problem, Im sure you can just hang your exhaust lower. Hangers are easy to fab.

what about if i put something between piping and floor to hold exhuast down a little?

just make sure its not flamable.

just bend your hanger to make it fit thats my guess at a way to solve it
