I'm considering throwing in a h22a into my 96 accord. I was just wondering if it is well worth the money or would i be better off using the money it would cost to do that and mod my engine say i/h/e and then maybe cam shafts and gears and/or any other sugestions anyone might have. Also how much would it prob cost for everythig i'd need for a swap like that if you dont include the instalation and if anyone knows an good places to find good pirces on the engine and other needed parts. Thanx a lot
I'll iclude a pic of my car even though it looks a bit better now. i'll have the rear o the kit and clears. sides coming asap. I'll repost a pic soon i hope. thanks again

if your ride has an F22 in it, then yes... get the H22. you'll never get 200hp+ from the F22 if you stay naturally aspirated without an assload of cash or go with the F20B head. the motor has very little potential.
if you have a V6, the V6 is 180 degrees transverse in the bay compared to an inline 4 since the V6 rotates clockwise. everything in the motor bay will have to be moved to accomodate the H22, and would become very expensive and painful.

if you need a good place to get the motor, go onto to www.groupbuycenter.com. i think it was red dime auto that had jdm motor swaps for good prices. included tranny, axles, ecu, i think the mounts, wire harness, shift linkage, and motor www.redime.com/swaps/
the manual h22a is 2250 and the auto is 2025. hope that helps ya out a little bit.
