lebaron

Hello everybody, new to posting on these boards but I have read them for some time(lots of good information on here). I have a 1988 Chrysler Lebaron covertible and took it to a mechanic because the power steering was acting funny(I would have to put PS fluid in quite often) I was told that I needed a new rack and pinnion and that it would cost six hundred dollars. Does that sound reasonable? Just wanting to know so that I don't go and get ripped off. Thanks i advance
