Air horns???

Could someone tell me wether I need to fit the relay supplied with the airhorn set or can you just hook up the horn wire to the +'ve on the compressor and earth the other side.

Hi dude.....
........ALWAYS fit the relay...it's not a big job, and worth doing. The air horns pull a much greater current than the factory horn,and you risk welding your horn push contacts together if you wire direct....

Cheers Jon, I knew someone out there would be able to enlighten me as to why the relay was included.

Can someone write out the steps in installing air horns? i have everything i need however do not know how to install them...id like to have a relay to switch from stock to air horns and be able to use my steering wheel for both sets of horns.
