2003 Corolla will follow the Echo styling

The 2002/03 Corolla is allready in sale in Japan, have you seen it? It´s tall as hell, like the Echo but a bit bigger, anywise it doesn´t looks ugly as the Echo cause it´s edge-styled, like Ford Focus perhaps. Stick around I´ll scan some pics of it ok.

Which one? The sedan, wagon, hatch, or hatch-wagon. :confused:

I think that's just where Toyota styling is going...

Here´s a pic of the 3 door hatchback aimed to compit directly with the Honda Civic Si and Ford Focus ZX3 or SVT or S2 :D

The sedan is the one looking too goofy, don´t you think? it has a short front end like it´s getting usual (I´ll rather take the new Civic any day instead)

Does it looks better than Focus ZX5?

Does anyone else thinks that the sedan looks like too much like the Lexus GS300??:confused: :rolleyes: :eek: :eek:

I'm guessing those are the European models? I'm looking at the Japanese ones, and all the names are different... ;)

As far as i'm aware Toyota has different names for the cars divided in 3 markets:

1. Asia
2. America
3. Europe

Examples:

Corolla RUNx is just simply Corolla 5 door in Europe.
Corolla ALLEx is the sporty Corolla 3 door hatchback in Europe.
Corolla SPACIO is the 'ugly' Corolla Verso in Europe.
Corolla IPSUM is Corolla Station Wagon in Europe. (Not 100% sure).

The Corolla 2003 (sedan on toyota.com) for the american market will probably not be sold in Europe.
Instead there is a slightly different sedan being sold in Europe this summer (2002).
