Im planning on getting a Tein Coilover suspension, but i was a somewhat decent ride...which set up of theirs would be a good choice...im wanting tunablity and comfort...still going to be driven regularly...but taken to the track and what not also.

i got type flex and they do good to me.....im no professional all out racer but its definently a stiff ride and makes u feel like king cornerer <---is that a word? i also have hicas though. be prepared to feel every bump though since its so stiff....but there damn sexy!!!! make sure u get pillow ball upper mounts too, they look sweet with the hood popped.

I just got my USED Tien Super Street ($600) with 12000K on them.... not bad, they are scratched and all but there fine, they sure help in cornering allot. Dampening adjustment is awesome, if you want a comfortable and stiff ride get something with adjustable dampening built in it. (Not right hide, but how far the shock travels)
The thing is that I’m broke now.... :p suspension is not cheap. I also got the cusco camber plates they make thing look nice too (included with the purchase) :icon16:

FLEX or HE will be the Tein's i buy, IF i go that way...
i have many options at this point...Tanabe DD, Kei Office XR, Apexi N1, JIC FLT-A2...so we'll see.
HE are designed specifically for drift, just so you know.

FLEX - Twin Tube shocks. nuff said.
HE - Decent... but for 1500 dollars you can get KTS or Silk Roads with inverted Fronts.
Super Street - 600 bucks for coilovers :uhoh:
Im not a fan of
TEIN - Over-hyped-priced JDM Weaksauce
K-Sport - 700 bucks for a Coilover with 11ty billion Spring rates... no thanks
JIC - Too many Problems to list.
The Big Dogs (JDM) seem to be using
Endless - Nuff Said
Aragosta - good enough for Top Secret and Rotary Magic... good enough for me.
Ohlins - the best... and... the most expensive
Kei-Office - I saw at least three sets on the top cars at Formula D
Cheap / High Quality
KTS - Favorite for the Low-buck drift crowd. (cant afford to revalve for different rates = 1 spring rate... shows thought IMO
Silk Road - High Quality + Shiny = TeH w1n
I wasnt Trying to piss you guys off but thats my opinion on Coilovers.
