ummm... dude, if you had a stock 240, and a stock civic, you would still beat him. as long as you can shift and launch right. give it a few practice runs on some abandoned road. youll get the hang of it. he wont have any traction at all off the line, so you should beat him there. and civics are slow unless moderately or heavily modified. so just drive straight as fast as you can
