00 clipse, need speed!

I have a 2000 mits eclipse and my second gear is kinda sluggish. I have a need for speed and need some action! I have cold air intake (Injen), catback exhaust (2" pipe, Hyama muffler) and that's about it. Turbo's are prolly a lil too much for me at the moment, but I would like to make it street race worthy. It's been mentioned to make my car lighter but I just can't give up my rims / stereo. Any more suggestions??
