How do I get the tweeters out of the pillars (by the mirrors) of my Civic? It is time for some new speakers. I've done some minor installs on older vehicles but never with factory tweeters in the A-pillars.

I had a Geo Metro hittin' 151 with 2 ported L7 15s and Fosgate power, and an '84 fullsize Blazer with a very clean install including 3 W6 12s and MTX power- don't know the SPL.

Thanx for everything.

take off the door panel, disconnect the tweeters wires then take out the black plastic that the tweeter is in and then pull the tweeter out

Yeah, I know what you mean. I do so miss those Kickers. They would've fit perfectly in my Civic. I think my next system will be all Boston Acoustics speakers with Soundstream or Zapco amps. I hear the Pro series components and subs are going away though... I wonder what's gonna replace them.
