Heat shield vibration noise

My 93 camry V6 has developed at vibration noise on accelleration around the 3000 rpm mark. It sounds like a exhaust heat shield vibrating but I checked them and went as far a putting gear clamps around them to make sure. But the noise is still there. Anybody experience this before maybe im overlooking something.
