Stupid Question

I was wondering how hard it would be to switch an S13 to 4 wheel disk breaks?

what kind of S13 do you have?

cause mine already has 4 wheel disc brAKEs.

honesty i can say i dont have one yet..im saving my money still. I want to do most of my project all at once. (mostly the engine swap and body) i have 12 thou saved up right now...so its coming close to time to get a 240 and the rb motor. i called it a stupid question kuz i wasnt sure if they came 4 wheel disc or not...guess that makes everything that much easier...

remember daynas had rear drums i think

if sum 240s have drums in the rear thats news to me but im not all knowing about the 240 either

can anyone clarify if its a option or if it was just an early model thing?

I never heard of a 240 with rear drums... I think this is a mistake! Don't worry about... just avoid it if it does have drums, however...

yea...kuz i really dont want a rear drum car...i dont feel like dicking with a disc conversion on top of buying a big set of brakes

:2cents: Is that all that u care about 4-disc beak? I mean it good that u want something more modern and safer but I never heard of someone shopping for a car and his priority is the 4 disc break?! Anyways 240 breaks suck major ass, you will need to upgrade the pads lines and rotors, or the calipers.

ps: I don't want to hear from anyone that stock 240 can stop!!! :nono: I do down shift when I use the breaks, but stock rotors and pads get heated quickly and suddenly there as good as your effort to slow your car with your foot on the asphalt!! :cwm27:

yea i warped my front rotors :(

lol...Im not saying that 4 wheel discs are a huge priority...like i said...Im planning on doing everything right the first time...just dont feel like having to deal with the disc conversion that all...I think (still could change) im going to go with some Endless 6 puck brakes...

z32 brake swap....... see post on poll of best brakes to check out parts and options


a good setup on z32 brakes or even GTR brakes is good enough on the lighter s13. most higher end Nissans use 4 wheel disc brakes since the late 80's. SOME of the base model cars like the 200sx, and altima use rear drum brakes but all 240sx's have discs all around.
