I have a 91 crx si and am thinking about getting a individual throttlebody, but i was looking at reviews on the web and people said that you lose a lot of gas mileage and that it only gives top end. i race , so i wanted to know what would be better an ITB or turbo.

what engine setup are you using? imo turbo is the cheapest and most efficient way to get power.

Turbo all the way, you can put together a nice junkyard turbo setup for relatively cheap, or go with a kit already put together for a little more, and have much more fun with it than the ITB. A little more spendy now, but more fun in the long run.

Unless you're a real all-motor freak, turbo will be better. Although, there are some pretty sweet ITB setups you can make for cheap.

Some dude on www.ef-forums.com (i think?) just did a IDT swap on his dohc ZC. So try and go check out that post. ITB will fucking scream too, that would be sweet.
But turbo will probably be more reliable for a daily driver.

unless you have very high compression (12:1), a humongous lumpy cam, and massive headwork, individual throttle bodies are a waste of time and money, unless you just want that "bling bling" factor :S

ITB's curteousy of HMT.
how about go both :D but anyhow IMO turbo will by far allow you to gain more hp over the itb's anyday with any amount of money. the only thing i like about itb's is the distinct sound they produce. IMO id rather go carbed than switch to itb's
