Roller Noise?

I am rebuilding a 77 TA motor for a brutal street car. Now i have heard that a combination of roller products (i.e. cam, lifters, and rollers) make alot of valve train noise. I am obviiously looking at rollers for added power but this concerns me. Is it because of improper valve lash or installation, or just how they are? Thanks for the help.

From what I have heard (with my own ears) they just tend to make a lot of noise. My dad had a 67 SS Camero with all that it sounded like something was wrong with it but man did it RUN.
