I have a 1991 2dr Honda Accord with all stock F22 in it but i wanted to switch it to a h22 from a prelude and go maual instead of automatic. I got an offer to get a 98 prelude h22 but Im not sure if that will fit into my engine bay. I was looking for a 94 to 97 because i have done a swap like this in my friends honda but im not sure if the 98 will cause any problems. I'm low on funds so i cant afford to make to many alterations to get the engine to fit and can't just have an engine sitting in my garage that i might not use, but if anyone has any experience with this or has any confidence boosting advice it would be appreciated.

F and H series are all in the same family... meaning f22s and h22s are the same series... kno what i mean. It will fit in ur car perfectly cuz it is like the same motor... just with vtec, dohc, blah blah blah. Stock motor mounts should be exactly the same.. i think. Ur money will probably go more into converting auto to 5 spd. gotta get all the linkage, tranny, pedals, blah blah blah. Also u gotta convert the engine to OBD1 cuz like engines from 96+ are OBD2 or somthing like that. Ur car is OBD1. A few minor modifications needed but not major kind like if u were to swap a GSR b18c motor in ur car which will require ur life savings.
