Does anyone here have any experience using cool cans to cool off fuel before aspiration? Good, bad, ugly...?

I actually built my own i guess u could call it an ice box,same thing though,and let me tell u unreal change in HP at least 40hp gain but not positive till i run it on the Dyno will post results as soon as i do.

I too have a cool can that I made myself. Its an igloo 1 gallon water cooler with about 25 feet of 5/16" copper tubing coiled inside. For me it makes a diffrence, especially on those hot days. I donno about 40 hp. gains from a cool can, but any little bit counts. I just use cubed ice from the local 7-11 or gas station.

I've never used one on my car, but most all of the guy's running street car's at my local track use them and swear by them. Cooloing and condensing the fuel will diffently make an improvement.

If you think that the gains are good with ice, your gonna blow ur mind when ya run dry ice.

Dry ice sounds like it would freeze something up on it's way to being burnt. How does this all work? Does fule condense much when cold?
