I have to say it was better (tougher) looking seeing it in person driving down the road. I spotted it in my rearview mirror coming up behind me. Then it followed me on an offramp and then turned the opposite direction that I did, so I got to see the profile. I still don't think it's as tough looking as it should be but I also don't think that pictures have done it much justice. I rolled down my window to get listen to how it sounded as it went by but there was too much traffic in the area so I didn't hear a damn thing. Anyway, I'm a little less disappointed now that I have seen it in person. :lol2:

i took a ride down to a Pontiac Dealer yesterday evening to check it out, and all i have to say is WOW! Its amazing. It was a blue/green color.. but has the GTO on the grill.. and 5.7 emblem on the trunk. The only thing i was disappointed with, was that it only has 2 exhaust pipes on the left side. The grand am Gts and the Grand Prix Gts have 4 exhausts, why would they make a GTO with only 2? but it still looks amazing. This car was loaded, although it didn't have a sunroof, but had a MSRP price of over $33,000.. which included a "Gas Guzzler Tax of $1,000.00" which was funny.. but over all, an awesome looking car.

I drove one last week and I think it's a decent ride. Quick accelaration fair handling from what I felt(though I couldn't put it through the throngs of tests and such) and not too bad of a ride as far as suspension goes. I'd take one, it's got a nice low rumble to it, whether or not the exhaust pipes do come out next to each other.

I saw a black one on the freeway in Orange County, CA. We played a little bit up to 110. I was impressed! Nice looking and pretty fast. (not quite fast enough for my Z28 though :nono: )

I saw a purple one, you know I've seen a lot in the dealerships but I have yet to see one with a different colored leather interior. They show them with the options of blue, purple, or red interior but don't make any...wtf?

The dealerships sure do like to mark the up too, car is supposed to be around $32,000, I've seen two go for around $39,000. The car is nice but I wouldn't even consider paying almost $40k for it.

Let me know when and where you want to put that Z28 thru it's paces! You'll find the GTO a bit quicker than you think! :icon16:
