purchase 1st riviera

i am about to purchase a 1972 buick riviera thats been sitting for a few years, i dont know alot about the indepth of cars n its motors, so i was wondering, wut kind of stuff can i do to the engine to get alot of speed out of it?

Three things that will double the power, raise the compression, port the heads and/or install bigger valves and install a big cam.
