87 CRXsi electrical help needed

hey whats up.
ive been having some electrical problems with a 87 crx si that i had bought stock...i put in a new stereo and it seems ive put in a new virus...2 12" subs, a 1,500watt alpine amp, and a new pioneer deck has been installed...after blowing alot of fuses in my trials,i replaced all fuses new and still my rear break lights, and the interior lights wont work, but the head lights work and the inside dome light works...and the break lights come on when break is applied...im glad i found this forum, and i appriciate anyone with any advice, thanks

did you check the bubls to make sure they are not blown
if all bulbs are ok and all fuses are ok the next thing i would do is get a voltage tester and see if there is and current flowing if no the you will have to find the short in the harrness if you are getting flow then it should be working .....

today i just bought a 86 honda crx from a gas station for 100$ that was smashed up a bit in the front...probly so cheap cause it has no paper work..so what should i take off the car if my car still has the problem?

if you do have a short in the harness you could do one of two things
1 cut out the part that has the short in it and splice in a new lenght of wire
2 replace the harness 84-87 i think has the same harness so you should be ok it is a pain in the rear ...
that is only after you tested for volt in the lights
