I was wondering....is really important that we have a MAS Support Bracket after we replace our stock intake? Also, will it fit a 94 SL? Because from the pictures provided at 3sxperformance.com, the car seems to be a VR4.

No, it's not essential. However, like the name implies, it offers support for the MAS that would otherwise dangle. It's 20 bucks on www.3sxperformance.com, but if you're strapped for cash, you could get creative and make your own.

Yeah its recommended to have because otherwise the filter will just hang there, although thats not bad its not great, having it securely seated would be the best route. I was just about to order a K&N off ebay and I stopped in a shop downtown yesterday and they sell the K&N filter for our cars and already have a MAS Bracket with it and the filters like 40$ and brackets 25$ which is the cheapest possible.

Igovert500, will the MAS support fit a 94 SL? Also, the adapter for the intake is different from the MAS support, right? Thanks.

The adapter is a piece of metal that allows you to mount the actual filter to the MAS, that is definantly needed, while the support is a piece of aluminum that adds support and holds the MAS upright. I would assume they are interchangeable and can be used in the SLs. Although I am really not positive.
