Vids of me racing in the former 2000 Z28 versus modified GTP/Regal

Well this vid kinda got me depressed. One for trading in the Z28 :( , and the second for my horrible driving skills. First race is a run against a lightly modded Regal at LACR (The track is at 2700 ft. elevation, so both are cars were barely breathing). His car has a bunch of bolt ons (catback, int., headers, pulley, etc.).

Second run is against a rather heavily modified GTP (You don't wanna run into this car on the street, he runs low 12's). I was spraying on this run (100 shot). It still wasn't enough, although I was close (So close).

BTW I had a faster 1/4 mile (13.1 versus his 13.3, on that run atleast), but he beat me out of the hole. He has run a 12.6 1/4 mile since at that track (Low 12's at sacramento dragway I believe). Tell me what you dudes think, and please be nice. :)

The L67 is such a great motor. Responds very well to mods and are easily and cheaply brough into 13s, with 12s within reasonable reach for a daily driver.
I'm getting a Regal GS as soon as the lease on my Jeep is up, so I'm pretty partial.

yikes yeah don't feel to bad.. hell you slap 1.9 rockers in those L67's you get 20-25 HP at the wheels and something like 17 torque, then headers thats another 16-20? and then of course the blower pulley and what not. I love the motor all around.
If you went out all and would've modded the LS1 you'd win hands down :) still might be close I hear its really nothing getting an LS1 in the 11's

My LS1 had bolt ons and a 100 shot. The first race I destroyed the guy (14.1 sec. @ 104 versus 14.7 sec. @ 9X mph). The second run I had a 13.1 sec. versus his 13.3 sec. 1/4 mile (He beat me at the light). The second car I raced is one of the quickest GTP's I have ever seen. BTW the guy's name is Martin. I don't feel too bad at that track, cause LACR is a crappy track to begin with.

No, unfortunately I only have it saved on my computer. I believe that it isn't hosted anymore. I doubt the new WS6 will be as fast as the Z28 was (Since I now refuse to spray). Oh well :(
