First of all, let me tell you this was not a serious race on my part and I hope it wasn't on the Chevy 1500 truck's part.
My two friends and I were openly trying to race people, not just driving around waiting for people to come up and challenge. After finding only a parking lot of people who had no desire to race their "Saleens", z28 and 2000 GTs. I decided to one more lap of the stretch of Hwy 80 that I race on. I see a slammed 2000 Chevy 1500. Now, first of all, I like lowered cars and trucks. But I hate when people drop them to the fucking ground. It was an asian kid, of all people. I rev my engine at him and the light in front of us turns yellow. I could have made it without breaking the law, but I had to make fun of the guy. So at the light we exchange revs. When the light turns green, I just floor it and the car fish tail right then left. When I put it into second I get serious and gave my car everything I got. Which isn't alot, albeit. I let off the engine at about 80 MPH which is 6500 on the tach, roughly. We had a good laugh, saying no way would anybody do that to their car or truck, especially if they wanted to race. Well guess I was wrong. That lowered chevy came racing up at 70 MPH(I was back to the posted 45 MPH) I dropped into third and started to pull away. I look at his truck with my side mirror and see ,just in time, him scrape the fuck out of his truck. You could see like it was day behind that truck. We start laughing, I let of the gas and he goes by and hits another bump and scrapes the hell out of his truck and I had to pull over because I couldn't stop laughing. I swear to God, we all had tears going down our faces.
I just want to state ,again, that I like slightly lowered imports and trucks just not the kind that your finger can fit under.
