1992 lumina apv engine problems

I have a 1992 lumina apv 3.8 liter engine no spark, told to change ignition module and coil pack, done so but then blew new module, please help, don't want to try another module until problem is found, these things are very expensive.

Did you replace with new? Coil pack needs some special grease between the coil pack and Ignition Module.
