What would a bone stock 5 speed hatch 91 teg run with a 50 shot? Let me know what you think.

If you don't have a real answer, why reply? Now I'm looking for some real estimates. I don't even know what these things will do stock.

The only engine available in 91 was the B18A I believe, those tegs run a mid 16 sec quarter stock.

I'd say maybe low-mid 15s, not quite sure though.

Of course being 13 years old its likely to just fuckin explode and that translates into a pretty shitty quarter. Save your cash and time and do some real mods to the car you buy after this one. Its not worth your time.

Just because its age is high, doesn't necessarily mean that it'll explode, as you put it. That depends on the mileage and how well it's been cared for. It might not be a great idea to install nitrous on a car with high mileage, so if the mileage is up there, you might want to reconsider your thinking.

my first car was a 91 GS. it had 136k miles on it and was babied. my first time at the track i ran a 16.9 on my first run and a 16.8 on my second. the car had an intake and a catback exhaust. the car was also a 5spd. i dunno what was wrong with the car and why it wasnt pulling closer to 16.2 or so...

at that time i wasnt the best driver but i was pretty good. i'm confident i could pull a better time now but there must have been something wrong with the car.
