2001 Maulibu Check Oil Light

ok I've had this issue since I bought the car :yugosmili 2 years ago, intermittantly the check oil light will come on, it doesn't seem to matter if i've just had an oil change or not, usually if I turn the car off for a min and then start it back up it doesn't come back on, but then could be a couple of hours or a couple of days before it comes back on... took it to the dealership and they said they couldn't reproduce it and it didn't come up with any error codes.. :dunno:

any ideas anyone? :banghead:
