This is James Waddington's Lotus Omega.
Maybe we could try to get him on here and tell us a little about this car :D
It has 377hp, and of course, its a Lotus! :)

Those cars are friggin sweet. They do 180+ MPH. I think it's the car that caused all the controversy about high speed sedans, and prompted Audi, BMW, and Benz to begin limiting their sedans to 155....

I don't think they'd do 180 (but am willing to be corrected). At about 150 it still had some acceleration left, but each mph above that would have been pretty hard work for such a big car. The Esprit intercooled car was only good for 180, and that had 280 hp in a smaller (if less aerodynamic, probably) shape. I worked on the driveline of these beasties for a while, terrific car and a neat engine.

These are cars that definetley deserve respect. They are very fast and fun, and have all the useful build and luxury of a saloon car!

Yep, that is correct and equal to 283 km/h. Tested by Autocar I believe. Exact same car was available in the rest of Europe as the Opel Lotus Omega. And yes some old pensioners were outraged (only in the UK though) about Vauxhall/Opel being so ''irresponsible'' :grinno: :screwy:
