Average V6 idle Speed?

I have a 86SE V6 that I'm working on, what should the idle speed be cold and warmed up?

It's running about 1600 until warm then around 850-950.

The EGR tube is not cracked or anything and there is no vacumm leaks.

Just really want to know what everyone's average idle is on a V6 cold and warm.

Mine is about 1600-1800 cold, then 1000-1200 warm, but mine jumps alil.

Yours sounds good to me... It's lower than mine (85 SE), and I think that's a good thing.

It was really cold today by me and the chock had it run at about 2200 -2300 for a lil while.

At idle your speed should be close to 0. Your rpms should be 700-900 once the car is warmed up. :iceslolan
