Clock Wires

A friend recently bought an 03 Accord. She reports that the clock dims when the headlights are on. I know that on many car clocks there is a dimming wire that can be snipped to prevent this.Does anyone know the wire colors for the clock and which is the dimming wire? Any help would be appreciated.

Why doesn't she just turn up the dash lighting with the little knob?

Typically the problem of clock dimming takes place during the day.In some states, like new york, the law states you have to turn on your lights when your wipers are operating. If your lights are on and the clock is dimming it makes it near impossible to see the clock in day light. It really just needs a simple wire snip to keep the clock on bright all the time. I just need to know what wire.
