Stuck in Park Gear

My 200 Odyssey refuses to come out of the park gear. Normally stepping on the brake will trigger a sensor that allows you to switch from park. What sensor switch controls this?

the brake light switch on the brake pedal. I would also check to see if you have brake lights they usually don't work either

My 2002 Odyssey had the same symptom - Stuck in park - also automatic doors didn't close properly...

Dealer replaced the Gear position sensor on the transmission - $351. The vehicle didn't know it was in park.
